Qualifications
  • Minimum working age is 16 in the State of Montana. Must be 18 years old to live on property. Must be 18 years old to serve tables and bartend. Drivers must be at least 21 years of age.  
  • All driver applicants must obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and must have a driving record free from Driving Under the Influence convictions. All drivers must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing throughout the summer, required by the Department of Transportation. All drivers are required to have a valid US Passport and be able to gain entry into Canada. 
  • Many positions do not require prior experience and we will train you. We are looking for individuals who will provide a positive guest experience.  
  • To work at any U.S. property, you must be a citizen of the U.S., or possess the appropriate documentation that will allow you to work in the U.S. You will be required to present two forms of identification when you arrive at the park. Copies or faxes will not be accepted as proof of eligibility. Canadian labor laws apply to our Canadian property. 
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Please contact Human Resources if you have questions concerning your background. 
  • All employees must be willing to submit to fingerprinting by the National Park Service. 
  • All employees in the U.S. are required to submit a $100.00 (USD) secured employment agreement deposit. All Canadian employees are required to submit a $100.00 (USD) housing deposit. This must be submitted with the return of your employment offer, or your offer will be considered NULL and VOID. If the employee completes their employment agreement, the deposit will be refunded to the employee's permanent address of record. Employees who do not notify Human Resources of their intent to decline employment with GPI two weeks prior to their arrival date will forfeit their deposit.
